2013 Spring AAA Program

Mission:

The mission of the Spring program is to offer a competitive development environment where player are pushed in practice to exceed their expectations and elevate their level of play so that they will be prepared to compete at a high caliber the following season.

Execution:

The mission stated above will be executed by having players training together in birth year groups.  This method will allow players to compete with their immediate peers for a roster position within the program tournament travel team.  The program will limit the number of players on each tournament travel team roster to ensure that the elite level players are participating.  Players will work with our premier coaching staff to develop their overall hockey IQ through diligent work on their: hockey specific individuals skills, game strategy knowledge, team systems knowledge and athletic training knowledge.  Players will get a tremendous amount of quality practice ice time and measure their development efforts in tournaments.

Teams:

The 2013 Spring Program will have groups at the U16, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 age groups.

Each birth year group will consist of a maximum of 30 skaters, plus goalies.  If there is enough interest to create two groups in any given birth year the program will do so.

The Tournament Travel team will be selected from the participating birth year group.

All players participating will get 15 practices during the spring program, regardless of selection to the tournament travel roster.

Costs:

The 2013 Spring Elite Program fees are $400 per player

These fees cover all cost associated with practice ice time, practice jerseys, practice socks, and coaches salaries.

*Players who are selected for the tournament team will also be required to cover their portion of the fees for tournament entry costs and coaches travel for tournaments. (estimate: $150 per player - will depend on number of players selected)
