Prayers and help needed!

2012-03-11

Huntsville U18 player needs prayers and help....

Huntsville U18 player Bryant Sivley has been hospitalized for the past 11 days with a bacterial infection in his blood and brain.  He is currently in ICU at Childrens Hospital in Birmingham.

Please remember the Sivley family and Bryant in your prayers - he is a tough hockey player that is fighting this with all he's got!

The U18 team is taking donations to help his family with medical expenses (he had to be med-flighted to UAB) and with day to day expenses of having someone in the hospital in another city.  If you would like to donate you can send cash, checks or gift cards (food, gas, etc) to the hockey office in huntsville or to me and I will be sure that they get it.  The hockey office is located in the Huntsville Ice Complex.  My address is 105 Raspberry Way, Madison Al  35757.

Bryant has played travel hockey for Huntsville for many, many years.   He is number 66 on the U18 team.  His family has set up a caring bridge website for updates.  If you would like to send Bryant a message you can sign the guest book at www.caringbridge.com/bryantsivley.

Thanks for your help and your prayers - he's getting stronger every day but still has a long battle ahead.
